Current Success
We've thus far hosted cosmetology as the only Project Bse, and have intorduced horticulture through a small plant project to get students excited about growing food. We are proud to say that we serviced close to 30 children in the 2022 school year with an overall 20% increase across reading scores and a 25% decrease in overall behavior through fellowship and goal setting. Join us as we grow into our full service capability to serve Kansas City Metro students.
At the American Youth Academy, we take pride in providing a safe and nurturing environment for our students. The American Youth Academy, focuses on after-school training for middle and high school students in technical trades such as Audio Engeneering, HVAC, Electric, Cosmetology, Coding, Medical Coding, Graphic Design, and Waste Water. Our mission is simple: to foster emotional growth and stability of our students while training for future career success. With a dedicated team committed to unlocking student potential, we're here to help students achieve their goals while simultaneously improving reading scores in the procces!
At AYA KC, we envision revolutionizing after-school programs by rebranding them as collegiate-level interactions. Our goal is to provide a safe, educational environment where students decompress, engage in project-based learning, and build healthy habits for success. We aim to expand our impact by partnering with the community, offering monthly health screenings, and fostering career readiness among high school students. Together, we strive to create a future where every student feels empowered, educated, and prepared for success.
